If you are planning a wedding in Orlando, Venue 1902 should be at the top of your list. Located in Sanford, Venue 1902 is a historic schoolhouse turned wedding venue. The brickwork and vintage classroom made it the perfect backdrop for Mary, a former teacher, and Conor to start their married life. I adore contrast and pairing the soft wedding day details with Venue 1902’s hardwood was a dream. Connor gave Mary a glass jewelry box the night he proposed. I love how it looks like a little greenhouse in the ring shots. The florals by Ian Tafola Designs are among my favorites ever to photograph. The garden feel is on point and they lasted the entire day! That’s the true test of great florals!

To begin their day, Mary and Connor chose to do a first look and get through most of the portraits before the ceremony. This allowed their day to start earlier; to extend their time together on the wedding day; and gave them time to join cocktail hour! The Ceremony

Mary’s grandfather officiated the ceremony which was just the sweetest touch. He was beaming with pride as she came down the aisle with her father. A funny moment when neither of their rings wanted to fit made the whole room giggle. Connor did an amazing job holding that first kiss long enough!

The Party

Let me just tell you that I attend a lot of wedding receptions and this one was off the hook amazing! Every single person was on the dance floor to celebrate with Mary and Connor. Venue 1902’s ballroom has a stage where the bridal party was seated. During the party it became the perfect spot for Connor to stage dive off. Don’t worry his groomsmen had his back (or front really) and carried him through the crowd. Their epic party was topped off with a glow stick exit to send the couple off on their new journey together.
